Replacing a combustion process with electricity in a V-shaped engine layout means using electromagnetism, solenoids, and a shared crankshaft. Instead of burning fuel to push pistons down, an electric current creates magnetic fields that move sliding magnets to turn the shaft unless we integrate EESM hybrids which achieve equivlance 

How Electric V-Engines Work like Boxers
